Why bring meditation to your office?

The ultimate outcome of meditating is very simple, yet not so easily attained. It is to simply feel comfortable being you! Even at work!

Today’s fast-paced lifestyle is creating so much unnecessary stress that people are unconsciously carrying that with them into the workplace. This stress can negatively affects a person’s performance and potentially create detrimental ramifications for the overall business.

By incorporating meditation into your company’s schedule, your business can become a refuge from the craziness of modern life. It can transform into a haven where your employees are able to feel positive and healthy. When your employees feel good, your customers feel good, and when your customers and employees are feeling good, productivity and sales have a tendency to increase.

Once you begin your corporate meditation process, the potential for an uptick in revenue can be wonderful advantage, but it no longer becomes the true reward. The deep level of satisfaction you receive from helping the people who help you on a daily basis extends so much further than any dollar sign.

My Meditation Process

The whole experience lasts approximately 75 minutes. In the first part, participants are encouraged to share about areas of discomfort going on in life or at work that they would like to transform. Usually there is a collective theme that most people are going through. Discovering this collective theme is important to help people feel supported in moving through the challenges they are facing. I would like to note that no one is required to share and you don’t have to be experiencing stress to still receive the wonderful benefits.

I then guide everyone into the meditation by playing a series of instruments that produce a powerful sound vibration, brining them into a deep state of relaxation. I also provide vocal prompts, which activates the imagination in a soothing manner, so they can visualize and discover positive solutions to the issues they are facing.

After the meditation we end with a circle share, where participants are able to make sense of what they experienced through a brief discussion. I concluded by sharing a technique they can carry with them throughout the week to help maintain the relaxed state of bliss that is usually felt by the end.
